    I am using a ford lightning m112, althoughI wouldn't mind getting a longer snout to move it back a little for better balance on airflow. The mustang m112, I found to be a little too long for my liking.

    couldn't you do a missing tooth trigger off the crank plate on the rear of the motor? I thought about that too, and not use the cam trigger since the vvti would screw all that up.
