It's possible, but I can't do it for at least 3 more months. I got to finish my car first.

If you can build and sell at your price, then I'm sure you'll make a fortune. But I'd like to see your sketch of how you'll do that. :D Even at my cost without any labor involved, I can't do at that price.

It seems like you're doing charity work, if you can build them for $200.

Very tempting! The manifold flange itself already costs $40/each totalling $80 for both flanges. Where I get the cheapest price (at almost wholesale cost) for the pipe and small flanges will cost an additional $100. That doesn't count the price of the pipes and small flanges that go right after...

I saw one rear mounted turbo setup for the SC4 on Club Lexus. You may want to check that. As far as the oil issue is resolved, another issue is you can't drive it the rain, unless your air filter goes all the way back to the front and into the engine bay. I saw a HKS rear twin turbo setup for...

Nice to hear you take it back. Although the 1UZ engine barely moves, but it's good to have some clearances between pipes and other stuffs. An R8 against you? He won't have a chance. Lol.

Another tip to deal with online transactions is either to pay with Paypal or Credit Card (an account that has low limit). Paypal may have the power to take the money back. However, Credit Card companies also have the power to take the money back for you, only if you dispute based on bad...

Cars For Sale SC400 V8 T70 Turbo 5 Speed R154 black interior Piaa Wheels etc!

Just curiosity, do you have any picture taken from the battery looking at the turbo? I'd like to see how you have it positioned. Also, do you run the downpipe below the crossmember or along the side of the manifold?

Here's an old thread. The setup was changed somewhat, but you get the idea. I'll create another thread after the new setup is up and running. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/performance-and-maintenance/328287-single-turbo-sc400-and-running.html

One more thing about MPG. If you put on wider tires and heavier wheels, the MPG will be less.

Smell of gas? Not really. Only when it's running. Probably your catalytic converter is old and can't filter good enough, if the smell is from the muffler. But check if the smell comes from the engine or the muffler. If coming from the engine, then make sure to check all gas hoses, fuel pressure...

    That annoying 1st gear surge

I didn't use Suprastick and don't know how it helps. The hi-stall TQ helps both off-the-line accelleration and on the roll as well. I use Lextreme hi-stall TC. Keep in mind that it'll make the shifting a little bit more jerky due to higher shifting RPM. That's the reason it's faster. I know a...

    wheel studs needed!

Hub centric bore spacer is the one that has the inner hole fit tightly around the car's spindle/hub, while it has the lip to fit tightly inside the wheel. This tight fitness makes sure the wheel is centered on the hub and there's no movement between the wheel and the hub. Without the center bore...

    That annoying 1st gear surge

Shimming the accumulators may help a little. The correct way to make the tranny work better is to install a high-stall speed torque converter and to modify the valvebody. It's day and night if you do that. Talking about cold air intake, the air filter must be underneath the area where the OEM...

I didn't use that brand, but I used other aftermarket belts and they work fine. I usually use Mitsumoto or something like that.

    Thinner headgasket = more power?

Machining the heads surfaces will increase compression. Then using stock height head gaskets will work. But increasing compression is taking risks if not calculating right. :D
