    Fugly2 's 1UZ

The old setup already looks really clean. The new setup amazes me. This engine should be in all new Toyota's cars. If you take this car to a regular mechanic shop, you'll be asked "Where the heck can I find the air intake?" Lol.

wideband sensor bung location for turbocharged v8 gen 1 tundra

Anywhere in the downpipe after at least 10" from the turbo exhaust outlet is fine. If it's closed to the turbo, the heat will damage the sensor.

    Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator

Just on a side note that not all 1UZ engines have the same injectors. Some have 215 cc/min injectors and some have 245 cc/min injectors. Please do the search on the Tech articles of this side and you'll see. Some people may get lucky to get away with complete stock fuel system while boosting...

    Whipple 2.3L or 2.9L in 93' SC400 (140AX / 175AX)

I'd say go for it. But it's an insurance to put a temperature gauge to monitor the intake temp.

    1UZ crank pulley tool?

To open the pulley bolt, you need to have a chain wrench like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MAC-TOOLS-CHAIN-WRENCH-19-HANDLE-24-CHAIN-MODEL-WC888-/150915464860?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item2323433e9c&vxp=mtr Just wrap the chain by 1 person and hold it, while the 2nd person use the...

    2012 Lexus IS-F review

The stock IS-F suspension is just very mild on the sport tuned side. If it has a true sport coilover and a better exhaust plus cold air intake, it'll hang with M3 and C-63. If I'm not mistaken, some guys on Club Lexus with a cold air intake made additional around 10 or 15 rwhp.

    Whipple 2.3L or 2.9L in 93' SC400 (140AX / 175AX)

Making that much rwhp really depends on the heat inside the intake and how much boost the setup will have. If it's too hot inside the intake, then you can't make much boost to make more power. Not sure how much power you can make with this setup, but since there's no intercooler, be careful with...

    Apexi SAFC

Install it, tune it, and find out. Lol. One of my friends used it on his stock SC400 and tuned and got 10 more rwhp. I'm not a tuner, but I was told it's a bit tricky to tune it. You can either tune it only in open loop, or you can buy the o2 sensor simulators and tune it anyway you want it. The...

    Project Thread Project SC400TT

With this setup, I see there's barely any room for shielding. Even in my single turbo setup in the SC4, the clearance between the manifold and the alternator is only 0.5". And the rest is just neck to neck.

Melted wire? It sounds like a melted heart. Lol. I agree that those turbo manifolds should be wrapped over the ceramic coating. I watched on youtube that some guys video the coated manifold during tuning, and the glowing red hot can be seen through the coating.

Pls Help the new guy ;)

Check the timing to see if it's right, and the timing belt to see if it's still good. You can open up the plastic sparkplug cover and see the belt. Try to put in a good battery and start it. Also, make sure the starter is still good. You have to hear it try to turn the engine.

Need some guidance on Power Steering Pressure Hose

You can cut the hose and use some fittings with a piece of high pressure hose to adapt it. You can find those fittings and parts here: http://www.anplumbing.com/ There's no need to go with OEM hose, too expensive. I fabricated it myself simply.

Pls Help the new guy ;)

It may not be the fuel injectors. Even if 1 or injectors are dead, the car would rev and run, but only sluggish and lose power. You can check the timing, fuel pressure at the fuel pressure regulator, take out all sparkplug wires and redo again, check coil wires, check sparks. If all of the...
