    Starter Issues

It seems like a bad starter. The starter supposes to stick out its gear and spin. That gear will engage to the flywheel and turn the engine. If it spins and doesn't turn the engine, then it's probably bad. However, before taking it out, try to put in a full power battery. A weak battery may be a...

    wheel studs needed!

You may not want to use those spacers. They don't have hub centric bore. You'll have great risk of breaking the wheel studs and will lead to accident.

    Project Thread Project SC400TT

Sorry to hear of your accident. :o At least you're ok to go on the forum. :p I thought your turbo pipes were designed and fit perfectly. However, I understand this type of project usually has some surprises in engineering. That's the spirit of it, but don't give up. lol.

    searching for 450whp

I never used Holset, but if you'll go with a Garrett, you can get a T4 60-1 or bigger such as 62-1.

    Refurbished sc400 headlights

I don't think there's any refurbished sc headlight out there. You can refurbish it by yourself. To open up the lense housing, don't use the oven. Use a heat gun instead, so that you can control the heat while prying out the lense housing. The exterior coat of the light is probably not good...

    Exhaust flange stud removal

Ebay has a lot of sockets for those torx studs. The 2 nuts method should work easily if the engine is outside.

I like nylon braided hose more than ss braided hose. It's easier to work with.

    Rear mount turbo question

I wouldn't use divided turbine housing. It restricts the exhaust flow. Power is 1 thing, but restricted exhaust flow will cause overheating, not to mention backpressure that hurts power.

    if you're bored

That's awesome! All about off-roading. Some struggle more than the others. I wonder if there's a vehicle with a 1UZFE powering it.

Early 1uz rear main seal pn?

I used aftermarket rear main seal without problem. I forgot what the brand was. Just coat some high temp gasket maker (same one for the oil pan) around the seal and press it in. It should stay and seal it forever. :p

    GS400 (VVTi) Vs. SC400 (VVTi)

It's good to mention the LS has a different exhaust angle from the SC. John, you're the exhaust man. Lol. From the LS exhaust design with less restriction, I think it flows better than the SC. Also, the gear ratio of the LS may be the reason it's faster at low end than the SC. Supposedly...

    questions about my sc400-T build

APEXI safc with 315cc injectors is a better way to go. The other FMU route is an economical setup, although it's still good enough to handle low boost.
