on My SC400 it was near the differential, under the car behind the driver's door.
must be near this place on the LS too.
Good luck trying to change it. Mine was all rusted so i Bought a chrysler injection filter, 2 small hoses with injection hose clamps.
they replace them instead of repairing them because it's faster.
installing another engine, turn the key, customer is happy.
Finding the problem, trying to fix it, waiting for parts, might happen again, customer is not happy.
This thing is the kind of thing i've never seen in any car.
the backseat only moves on one side when I try to tilt the seat (electric).
the left side move but the right side of the seat is stuck at the same position and i don't understand why. I tried to pull or push it but it really doesn't...
not all the thermostats are designed to fail open.
drilling holes in the thermostat will cause your engine to have a longer warm-up time.
there are "high flow" thermostats available but with a stock engine you don't really need them. before drilling the thermostat, i'd double check my fans...
Duracool (R-20 i think) is better than 134-A from what i've been told. Smoother for the compressors while giving a better result. And it's less volatile than the 134-A so the duracool will need a bigger hole in the system to leak.
My LS doesn't drop any water when the A/C is on.
is there a water line for the A/C??? where is it? Because when I turn the A/C off all the humidity comes back in the car and there's a smeel comming from the system, like wet dust. My dryer might need a good cleaning.
Oven cleaner. EZ-Off
it does an amazing job for low price. Use outside because it does a lot of vapors.
soak the block with the stuff, let it act some time, soak it again, let act, then rince and brush on some spots. But most of the stuff will be removed by the product.
