    The whine means you are low on fluid. If you get loud groaning noises then you are way too low on fluid and have ait in the system, plus you are damaging your pump. Check the level when cold, do not overfill it. If you loose more fluif after this look around for some leaks.

    The distibutors do not output any signal. They merely distribute the HV. The engine speed sensor is on the crank and outputs an inductive type output, which is completely different from a hall effect (or squarewave output).

    Toyota using proprietry parts, GM don't. Its easy to mod something when you know what's going on inside. It is a lot more work to know what is going on in a Toyo ECU.

    Most older cars have a lockout on the shifter to prevent accidental knockage into neutral. This is a purely mechanical device and has nothing to do with my shift controller at all. You can implement any kind of shift lever you wish, the unit is not stopping you.
