Welcome T100Runner, Lot of information on this site. Lots of people with a bunch of experience. Good luck. I am currently putting a 1UZ into a Toyota Prerunner (2WD). I was able to find a bellhousing for the 1UZ that mated up to my Toyota R151 tranny.

SC400TT, What ignition do you plan to use with your TT engine? I know Ray Hall thinks that the stock 1UZ distributors are fine to use with the SM4. I believe that the SM4, multiplexer and Okada combination will be very well suited for my TT application. I do plan to have only 500 RWHP though.

Lex, Sent you an E-mail with the files and addresses. Okada is expensive, about $150.00 each. The multiplexer should be less than $250.00.

I still like the idea of an Autronic SM4 ECU, multiplexer (so no wasted spark) and Okada COP's (intregal ignitors and coils). I now have new distributor caps and rotors, ignitors and ignition coils looking for a home. I am going with the COP's.

morris, I noticed in the photo you had of the engine (5/26/06, #18 post) thread, "why are the GS owners with RMM....." with the red powder coated valve covers that you used a COP ignition. What was it? It looks great.

Oil jets in hand (thanks David). I have checked them individually with a digital instrument pump. Each one holds pressure with no flow until 2.0 bar (29.40 psi). At 2 bar they pop and the ball comes off the seat and oil starts to dribble a bit. At 2.7 bar (39.69 psi) flow is constant. I tested...

Autronic SM4 for me as well. Question for 1ndecent, with the R500 CDI why didn't you go for the 8x single coils setup using the 4 ignition outputs from the SM4 going to the R500 to drive 8 coils and no waste spark?

Backdraft, by no means could I answer your question but would an exploded view of the throttle body and intake manifold help you? Lot's of information on this subject if you use the search function on the forum.
