    cad...i can do it...i'm already making car parts with cad. i priced out using Jenvey shorty itb's on a CAD manifold out of billet aluminum. its GODDLY expensive. damn V8's. it'll be easy close to 2,500 to 3,000usd for a ITB setup using Jenvey's. well...if pricing wise it'll be the same...

    the only ones i know of are Tony Millar from 1uzquadcam.co.nz which are the ones i'll probably get if thats all there is. I have done a search across this as well as many forums, and it looks like this is the only easily obtainable ITB config for the 1UZ engine. i am just posting in case...

    ok, ross had a issue with their pistons a while back, so since then people have been scared to use ross. i've heard ross has great customer support also, but that doesn't mean other brands don't. ive seen every piston manufacture make high hp figures, maybe not particularly in the UZ engine...

    ohhh you guys like to argue don't you... whoever said wiseco is crap needs to shut their mouths. you know nothing. all in all, every piston manufacturer out there makes a sturdy piece, but its up to the engine builder to build the engine correctly and the tuner to tune the engine correctly...

    there is nothing wrong with a open deck block. this is why honda's can be overbored such a large amount. something toyota's lack. toyota engines usually have shallow cyl bore spacing not allowing us to overbore many toyota engines, which pretty much sucks for the aftermarket. then again...

    where are you reading about previa's? i can't find any websites. anyway... the 2.4L is a tacoma engine on its side. the supercharger is belt driven but it is not on the engine block. it is remotely mounted. the intercooler is a nice thick unit, similar to the supra tt and mr2 turbo...

    quick question. does the R154 and V160 share the same output to driveshaft setup? say for instance i have a R154 tranny and i were to swap it out for a V160 could i bolt up the driveshaft, or would i need a completely different driveshaft? another question...is lengthwise the transmissions...

    aftermarket rods, light weight pistons, balanced crank, improved oiling system. on top of high compression, ported head, big cams... no reason why the UZ engines should not make good power.

    nevermind...thats what i get for working on a car when its dark outside. i just had to lift and twist and it was able to be removed with the egr pipe still in place.

    yeah standalone is only needed if you build the engine or do extensive modifications that the factory computer can no longer support the engine. bansheebuzz, whats the specs on your setup?

    ecu, install, and tune is not a problem. i do those already. TH400's go for $800-$1200 range it seems?

    ok guys. quick question. i am trying to remove my intake manifold, but the EGR is in the way. i can reach behind the head and feel the bolt that holds the EGR, but there is no way in hell i can fit a ratchet or wrench back there. also the engine harness is secured some how can i can't get it...
