    Horse Power and Torque

haha good point. :) just amagine though, one set of tools, all values are instantly obvious which is bigger/smaller than the next, no need for fractions etc. i can see however, how the advent of SI units would be just as annoying for someone in a country not using them as the primary unit.

    Horse Power and Torque

off topic, but, i cant believe imperial measurement is still being used in a developed nation. what a horrendous form of measurement.

    M90 on a Crown 1UZFE

you're probably aware of this, but iv heard that some m90's you cant swap the pulleys. not sure if this is an issue, but might be worth checking out. i can see you're keen to keep the original computer, but going aftermarket could possibly save some hassle (and therefore cost?) in the long...

    M90 on a Crown 1UZFE

    Big Block

ha woops. the first three letters of japanese. iv never head of it being an offensive word anywhere, especially on a forum based on a *** engine. my opinion on the japanese 'big block' thing is that there is no such thing. if there was though, the 1uz and q45 and 20b would be the 'big blocks'.

    The Definition of Shoehorning...

yeah its nissan i know, but thought you guys might still enjoy it. the manifold is pretty crazy, sortof looks like a spider, and from a distance looks like a transverse engine. i looked at it for a while and couldnt believe how it fitted. every square inch of the engine bay was taken up...

    The Definition of Shoehorning...

its a bit of a sleeper. with the bonnet down it looked completely stock. even the interior with standard seats and shifter. it all looked very inconspicuous except for the rather large ATL fuel cell in the back... i seen it parked up at beach hop in whangamata over the weekend...
