    Ceramic coat hot parts, some shielding and have elect wires at least 100mm away.. That crinkle cover conduit doesn't stand any heat, just cable tie critical area..

    I guess the miles its done and the type of performance you expect ?? It's a bit how long is a piece of string question.. Often an engine in good condition with some TLC, as in new springs brings back performance esp in higher rpm..

    Nothing generally wrong with Eagle rods .. I have them in a little Ford Windsor 331 turbo with 483 RWKW..Used similar rods in a Mazda MX6/ 2.5 V6 with turbo, made the motor near bullet proof.. The 1UZ I've built has Argo rods through group purchase way back.. Should easy hold 1000 h.p TUNE...

    Have notched pistons on other engines using old heads with either cutting piece tig welded on valve, cutting valve and open up as cutting tool or gluing some emery paper to valve . The problem is high compression and aggressive valve timing tends to close piston to valve .. There is no sure...

    Yep once you pull engine down things add up !! Just cam and springs , good head machine and MLS head gaskets GOOD tune in light car = fun !!

    On my turbo motors we use C.P Pistons http://www.cp-carrillo.com/ They hold up very well on forced induction motors with good sealing.. They can custom make you a set if using different rod etc...
