    2002 Lexus ES300 - 18's or 20's?

You should do the wheels and lowering at the same time. No sense in using 20's and having it look like a 4x4. 18's or 20's are big jumps, it depends on the look you want. Will you be getting a bodykit? I would recommend going with 18's for now, 19's if you can.

    Central locking playing up - 92 SC400

Wow, I don't think my doors automatically lock over 25mph... I would assume unplugging the battery to reset the system would do the trick?

Just thought I'd show off my computer install in my sc400

Here's some info on EV-DO... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EV-DO You can look into getting phidgets and putting the control knob over it...like this: http://www.phidgets.com/index.php?module=pncommerce&func=itemview&KID=117029034067.126.251.142&IID=62 I'm glad more guys with the SC are getting...

Just thought I'd show off my computer install in my sc400

The steering wheel I have is actually off of a GS... A nice device that you can use to change volume & tracks is the Griffin Powermate, it'll probably fit nicely into your cupholder... And to add to your answers for Jibbby's questions: 1) play mp3's or music videos (200gb stores a lot) 2) my...

Sorry for the late response but you have to remove the 4-10mm screws on the inside of the trunk, pull the taillight out and you will have access to all the bulbs.

Billet Grill for 96 SC400 Body Style?

I think I know what you're talking about. I've seen a few on eBay and unfortunately, those grills resemble too much of a F-150 front grill look. I would save a few hundred and do a 97+ front bumper replacement. If you must modify the 95-96 bumper in some way, how about removing it completely?

Another update on rdms TT sc400..

Nice progress! I hear only the 95+ SC's would be able to swap with the getrag with no tunnel problems and 92-94 models would need some hammering. Anyways, looking forward to the pictures!

    245/45/18 tires on 18 X 8.5 in. rims 38mm offset

I would not worry with 8.5 +38... Rolling the fender will not make you loose your splash guard. The only risk in rolling is damaging the fender and/or having paint in that area crack/peel. 18x8.5 +38 is very conservative, I would not worry. Sounds like your dad's car is also on stock...

    20' s on a sc400?

tire size depends on the width of rim you choose... Performance wise, the car will feel heavier during acceleration... As for comfort, I am on 19's currently and have been in SC's with 20's and the ride is very similar... My next set will be 20's, but I would only recommend 20's if you have a...

    Widest Rims on GS400?

You can fit a 11" rim in the rear, just depends on the offset. 11" rear with a higher offset would be able to fit. The best thing you can do is look at your current wheel setup, and use this wheel offset calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp You can then see how...
