I got one of the fuel rails polished today, it took a bit longer then I was expecting, for a billet rail they have some pretty rough castings in them. I also got some better pics of the manifold ribs.

I got the pcv plate and the top ribs polished today. It was a bit dark by the time I took the pics.

I don't think I want to take the risk of it melting, and the look of the Insultherm is starting to grow on me. I think the only way to do it properly is to remove the connectors, and tape the harness first, looking at their catalog pics I think they may have used it over the top of conduit...
