carbon fiber doesnt "shard" it almost becomes harmless when it breaks (unwinds and become "fluffy" on a sense), your windsheile is safety glass, and it does afine job af keeing things out- use polycarbonate...BULLETPROOF glass is made from polycarb. Total waste of time to replace all your nuts...

My 2uz from a 2002 Tundra has a front sump oil pan, I need a rear sump- the 100 series Landcruiser (2uz) uses the rear sump pan, my first question is is the rear sump that I found through classifieds here pretty much the same as a landcruiser rear sump? I know you may not know what the LC uses...

is fueling an issue? I hear different things about an 9th injector. not all kits have this from what i hear and i was wondering if that were an issue too

okay heres the scoop on this one, 13000 mile 2UZ (confirmed mileage) I was able to track down a S/C (TRD) for it and I seek wisdom from those who have more 2/1uz exp. ZUFFEN has mentioned to me that the rods are an issue (I know they are weak from reading up here) thats why TRD halted the sale...

Heya Lextremers, first off bad ass site I found it after a friend suggested i go here because of my 2UZ swap in my 80 series LC. I also recently purchased a 1992 sc400... and I didnt realize the potentila these things have- DAMN!!! I am not a big car guy myself more into the 4wheel drive...

So from what I have read so far the rods from the 1UZ are interchangeable with the 2uz. would I be wise to put the 1UZ rods in my 2uz? I am going to use this thing like its meant to be used.

like the thread title says I need a rear sump for a 2UZFE (all will work from what I have read) I have the front sump to trade. the oil pan is dented -I can replace if you want. will pay shipping both ways.

why not the 2UZ for the 80 (I am doing one right now) more torque which is what the 80 series needs anyway (why switch to a 4.0 when it already has a 4.0?)

I have a front sump set up, the only issue mine has is the oil pan is dented from a forklift (lower pan) I am needing a rear sump for my FJ80 project. I can make up the difference for the cost of the lower pan. I would need all the associated parts if thats what you have, thanks a bunch Bryan
