Tried that. Once you get a person who leaves CAA, if they are not contracted by CAA to do the job, then they are likely to get their heads bitten off for interfering! The 'culture' in our CAA here at the moment is real bad. A lot of them think they are "GOD" and have all power! I forgot to say...

Just up to the Max HP rev of 5600 for take off and then throttle her back to a sweet rpm, which I've found as generally about 3400. I have an 'in-flight adjustable propeller' so I just work the revs to whatever pitch that seems fine on the day.

Here's a PDF file I made up that may make it easier. By memory, it all worked out okay, but when you wire it up, double check with the other diagrams to ensure I have it right. I just about drove myself mad researching to get all this right, so once again enjoy.... Cheers.
