o k thanks for that RMS good info. what do you think is it worth going with the adjustable cam gear on the 1uz with out been able 2 do the center gear.or is the valve timing prity much as good as you get with out been able 2 adjust the center gear

i have seen gains on other Toyota motors with the DOHC setup like the 1uz with 1 cam gear. performance gains especially when you are putting a lot of boost into your motor. but again i could be wrong about all of this so please keep going putting your 2 cents in, we all learning new things all...

i have not pulled my 2 distributer of my cams yet but by just looking at them i thought that you would be able 2 put them on a adjustment screw/bolt on that also e.g if you advanced the cam timing 2 degrees you could simply turn the dizzy back 2 degrees so it will be sitting back in its natural...
