    So, how did you go? Find it? In case you didn't, I had a look on my Crown. That wire goes to the 16pin connector on the ECU. Hope this picture is clear enough: The wire you want is on the lower right.

    How did you get on? I would make sure that the throttle to gearbox cable (line pressure cable) is adjusted correctly. I would go for the workshop manual setting on this. It is critical that it is adjusted correctly. Too much one way and the shifts will be too harsh and could damage the gearbox...
