How many pins on each plug?

When you turn the key off, does it remove all power from the ecu. This means every time its started it would have to relearn its parameters. A certain wire to the ecu needs an uninterupted power all the time, even when the key is removed. Just a thought. Kris

Rod can the bolt holes in the starter be elongated slightly to move the starter a few mm away from the ringgear. Sounds a bit rough but might get you thru. Cheers kris

Elliot, I take it this motor has been rebuilt. From what Ive read, 99% of engine builders do not recomend synthetic oils in the break in period. As the oil has so low friction properties the rings dont bed in properly. I would do some research first about using synthetics in a rebuilt...

If it happens again I would be relocating the pump to as close to the tank as possible or better still fit a swirl pot and fit the efi pump at the base of the swirl pot. Buy a low pressure pump to fill the swirl pot as these often can suck fuel better than high pressure efi pumps. Cheers kris

Check out your fuel pump pick up line if your running an external pump. It could be sucking air and not fuel due to a cracked hose ect to the inlet of the pump. if this checks out ok remove the pump and bench test it with a known good fuel line and supply of fuel. Some efi pumps dont like to...

The 2 wire sensors are more accurate in some cases if the exhaust manifold is not earthed properly due to corrosion, it will give unaccurate measurments. Just give the earth wire of the sensor a good earth to the engine block.

I cant remember the size of the belt and the markings on the belt have worn off. I just measured the lenght with a piece of string and then measured that with a tape measure. I will try and get a pic of it if needed.
