Getting closer now. Got it all up and running. Sounds wild with trans brake on, and coming on boost..... Trans seems to shift gears, and goes into reverse with the trans brake on. Proof will be when i run it down the quarter how it holds up. With trans brake on, it stalls up just on 5000...

Throttle cable thing is cruise control i Think.

That seems all ok. 100 psi cold is about right.

Make sure both igniters are earthed properly. Are you getting 12v on one of the pins at injector plug, on the side thats not fireing. Cheer kris

Time for an update.... I built the power glide to handle 700 hp. Was my first auto build so fingers crossed it turns out ok. Got a 6000 stall, torque converter to suit a chev and modified it to suit. Seemed to bolt together good. Bolted it all in last night. Looks like i will be...

From memory their is different trigger wheels on the output shaft of the a34xx trans. It may be recieving only half the pulses, thus thinking your not going fast enough to shift.

iv'e only got one for thr 341. It has 8 pins.

ARP advise 60 on the 10mm studs.

I think he may have meant if they were torqued to 200 ftlb not is??

Good to hear its coming together. It pobably would be west to machine the heads. It does miss without doing this, but its close....

There hasnt been many people doing the 4.7. Possibly the people that have done them may not be all that willing to give away too many secrets... Knolledge is money i guess in the performance scene in relation to business making money by building HP.:):)
