that would be about right. Mine had around 250 psi, but was a 96 model, high comp motor...

Ive put a powerglide behind mine. Used a aussie six cyinder one with removable bell housing and used a delows bell housing. I supose you want an overdrive though, so gide no good.

I just measured my spare motor. From sump face to the lowest point the crank swings:D is just on 30mm.

When i made mine, the height of the sump from the front thru to half way was only about 40mm or so. Its been fine...

Second attempt to load pics.

Got a start on the intake plenum Got a start on the sheet metal intake plenum. Used 6mm sheet. Getting it welded in the next few days by a mate with a tig welder.

Went to the drags today. Trans held up well. ran a pb of 11.3. @ 113mph. Is running slower mph, I think convertor is a bit large, at 6000rpm is dropped of peak hp. Change of top intake plenum may move up hp drop off.. Wil see. Next change is caltraks. Bent my rear spring due to trans...
