That's precisely what I was thinking. The LS1 can make huge power NA... With the amount of money dumped into that for an "It can be done", he should have well over 1K horsepower.

Aren't there a number of other things that matter other than just hp per cylinder? Do they use the same rods? Same stroke length? Is there a difference in stress on the rods for the V8 as opposed to the straight-6? I've always been curious about these things. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks, Eric.

jibbby - as far as I know, sawed off shotguns are legal in Texas but they have a minimum length I believe. You're also going to tear up your house pretty bad with a shotgun as opposed to a pistol.
