I think pure o2 would be more devastating in the event of a car crash, but I can't see why it wouldn't work just as well, if not better.

I think it takes way to much room to remote mount an m90, especially trying to fit it into the bay of an LS or SC (the space just doesn't exist). I have to agree with Jibbby though, the Richwood manifolds are way too expensive for a "cheap" system. I don't think the market exists for someone...

200 bucks isn't going to get you very far. You could convert to an electric fan, but that probably won't save you very many horses. As far as swaps, there's too many to list. The engine bay is relatively large (huge actually) compared to many other bays. You could swap in a 1JZ, 2JZ, 7MG, Ford...

That's a pretty loaded question. You should probably search before you post anything else. There's mods all the way from cams and headers to full blown TT's and superchargers.

Personally, I wouldn't have ABS on the car. If it's being modified enough that I need an aftermarket ECU, I probably shouldn't drive it in the rain or snow. I'm pretty sure that your aftermarket ECU can get away with 1 (at a collector) or 2 (1 per bank) O2 sensors. You're probably going to have...

The wiring isn't really what scares me about a standalone ECU, it's the tuning. I can run wire all day, but tune something with so little experience, I don't think so.

Quite a few people have done it. It won't be cheap. You'll need a new pedal assembly with clutch pedal (and associated parts), a custom bellhousing, flywheel, and clutch to suit. Those are just the major parts. I haven't done it myself, but I can tell you it won't be cheap by any means.
