    2009 Toyota Super Supra

Seriously.... that has got to be the ugliest prototype car I've seen in quite some time. Toyota hit the nail on the head with the MKIV Supra... no need to see the image die with cars like this.

    Audi's new 500hp deisel V12 car engine...

I absolutely love the Cummins. My dad has one (the 24-valve 5.9). Some 500+ lb ft. of torque under 1500 rpm's..... Not to mention the untapped potential of it. Even the high end doesn't suffer. Burying the pedal from 60 mph can get you to 100 in a matter of seconds. Not much over that though...

    Audi's new 500hp deisel V12 car engine...

Neat engine. Stock boost is 37psi and max torque is made at 1800rpm's... gotta love diesels. I was just reading and thought it was noteworthy; the Q7 is AWD.... Fun, Fun, Fun!

    BJ70 to Lex Conversion

I'll take some pic's sometime tomorrow of what the connectors plug into on the car. I haven't tackled the rats nest of wires on the inside of the parts car yet. What I can say is that they plugged into a wiring block that extended the wires to elsewhere.

Does anybody have any data on the engine going into the new Skylines yet?

I would assume putting the lever into the L position and using the brakes would be the best bet.

    1uz in 1998 taco

There are a number of people using the W series 4x4 boxes, but if you want the extra security, upgrade to an R series box (or any custom one that you want or can afford to get adapted).

    Best option for 4WD. TT1UZ or 1UZ+M112

Interesting idea GSMnow. I've never really heard of anyone (ever) using a turbo setup for torque off idle. I would imagine the SC to be much more predictable on the rocks, whereas the spool-up on the turbo might be difficult to control?

Can you tell us the cam specs for this engine Lex (or is it top secret?)?

    Where are you located?

That's actually not correct according to http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/48000.html Texas is 49% white (no hispanic). Texas is 35% hispanic. Texas is 12% black. The rest of it is composed of other races with a fairly large margin for error. Granted, there are some places...

    U-Haul Swap

I don't think the 3vze is good for hauling anything personally. 150 horsepower, 180 lb ft of torque.... It's a real slug of a motor. Fairly sure I won't be able to give mine away when I pull it. It'll go off to the scrap yard probably.

If e-solver decides he doesn't want the heads, I'd like to purchase them along with the spark plug covers (if available). Thanks, Eric.

    2006 Ford GT Dyno

Fairly sure we're talking about the actual Ford GT "supercar". That kinda blows the "reasonably priced" part out the window. The suggested retail is in the neighborhood of 150K.

    2006 Ford GT Dyno

To get some technical specs on it: All the pictures I see show it to be dry sump oiling from the factory. Engine Type: DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, supercharged V-8 Engine Displacement (L): 5.4 Bore/Stroke (mm): 90.2x105.8 Displacement (cu in/cc): 330/5409 Compression Ratio (in/mm): 8.4:1...

Lex has a good point with the 2UZ. I simply assumed that you had already acquired the 1UZ.

    Best option for 4WD. TT1UZ or 1UZ+M112

For 4WD, I vote the SC. It gives instant torque from idle, whereas you have to wait for the turbo(s) to spool up.... If you're in rocks, you don't spend much time near the redline. Sand and mud do see alot more time in the upper rpm's, but only for short periods of time... not long enough to...

This sounds like such a sweet build. Everyone loves a lifted Cruiser, especially one with 250 horses on tap.
