    don't know if this helps.... the 7M alternator is physically a bit small than the UZ alt and has similar (or the same, i can't remember) mountings. They're only 80 or 90 amps but you can get a 165 amp version on ebay if you need the juice.

    looks very much like the factory intake on my L701 handi van, except the handi has a plenum of sorts at the end instead of the merge piece. Makes incredible down low power for a 1L, but of course nothing up top. Perhaps no place on a big torquie V8?
