He says he tested the left bank and got 180, 155, 140, 150. Will test the other half tomorrow.

Thanks sideshow. The dash is still in it, it did say 92,xxx KMs. Is it possible to fit an alternator from a different car (ie, something thats common in aus)? Anyone have an answer on the compression? Thanks!

Hi all, I had a quick look at a UCF11 half cut today. 92,000KM on the odo, dusty as hell, so it looks like its been sitting around for a while. The guy selling it says he will do a compression test on it tomorrow (ill be there for it). What numbers should i be hoping for? Will they be a bit...

There are no autobahns in Aus :( The Northern Territory used to have no country road speed limits, but that was recently changed (not quite sure what to tho). Nope, they are not. W50 and W58 are quite a bit different.

A W50 or a W58? A W58 will be fine, a W50 will last 2 seconds. Your not in Aus, so i cant help with where to buy stuff unless you import it from here.

Ill be using a W58 with a CRS bellhousing and alloy flywheel.

Black is the hardest color to maintain... requires a better polish, to be cleaned more often, etc to look good. Go white.... the easiest color to paint & maintain.
