Thanks TOBES, just gotta work out how to use a C4 convertor on the 1uz, I think I might get a machning shop to make a new flex plate to match up to the convertor and weld on the 1uz ring gear.

Hey guys, How would I go about adapting a C4 convertor the 1uz? I was thinking about getting a custom made flex plate(I like that idea better) or maybe modifying the extisting one? Thanks in advance Jeremy

I had a quick read on that engine a while back, though power and torque figures are good on paper. It seems the engine had some casting and engineering problems, the latest series has most of the bugs ironed out. I rekon the best engine would be the LS1, 500hp is almost too easy to get with one...

HAHA the AMG CL600 is bloody awesome, 6.0ltr V12 TT 450kw and 1000nm of torque from 2000-4000rpm(!!!!) 0-100km/h in 4.5secs....it shows that correctly sized turbos can compete with a supercharged engine for low end torque.

Has anyone seen the Lexus LF-A concept car? Was at Detroit motor show. Although not confirmed the engine is less then 5.0ltrs producing over 370kw(500hp), maybe a 3uz? Maybe blown?. Aussie guys check out the new Motor magazine for pics.

What would be the best system for a single turbo set up? The turbo will have a 4inch dump pipe and 4 inch catalytic convertor, but I'm not sure where to go after that, the car is goin to be street reg'd so I need something fairly quiet but also free flowing. Here's what I can come up with so...

Yeh I think the setup would be much more suited to an engine with a turbo, especially if you've got a street car with a massive turbo....like mine (hmmmm I gotta stop thinking about crazy ideas or I'll never finish my car)

Ford's GT is a 32 Valve V8, and I thought the lesser variants were 3 valves per cylinder. It still cant digiuse the fact that they are undersquare over rated pieces of crap.
