Hey guys, I think I'll be buying a Wolf V500 and as I'm going for C.O.P. ignition I'm thinking of using the LS1 coils. The reason for using them is that they have the ignitor inbuilt. Does anyone think there would be a problem using them?

Well I have done some work...not much really though. It's a pretty sad situation...but here's what I've done so far to the HZ. As you can see there's no more gutter, the other side is the same. I've also removed the front subframe getting it ready for some sandblasting!!!

I've downloaded both of the ECU's software, the Wolf seems to be more user friendly, but I still like having the familiar setup of the EMS...damn I dunno!!! I'm still going to investigate this I don't want to spend close to $2000 on something that wont do what I want it to!

Wow, 14" rotors I don't think you would have any problems pulling with them brakes. You could go one step further and throw one some Lambo 8 piston calipers! hehehe....Ahhh if I had money

It seems I'm stuck between the EMS and the Wolf....both seem to be able to do what I want. A couple of my friends have had EMS before which makes me want to go in that direction, but I don't know. Anyone got some hard facts on both???

You must realise that this wasn't built for high performance, its built for 4wd's where you need low end power. Is there any torque figures??? They would be more important then outright power.

In all honesty mate, it's up to how well the car is tuned. A good mate has a very old EMS system which fires all 4 400cc injectors at once, and with a 300rwhp sr20 he can get 6-7ltr 100kms out of it on the highway. But personally I think the extra $400 would be well spent on the extra features...
