So the end conclusion is that they will work on 1uz's?

With the forged Ross pistons,how much boost can 9.5 CR take,most are taking the 8.5 CR,which is good if going for extreme application..will 9.5 CR take 15-20 psi with intercooler ?What do you think?The aim to to get around 600 fwhp..which is mild boost..

Dont forget to look at the T56 also...they take a bit...specially the done up version..

I think The R 154 goes way past 450 HP They are rated @450 lb/ft. of torque...most are good for 600 HP,some are known to be behind 800 hp Supra's..

The R154 conversion can be done for $1500 Aus + gearbox(R154) These box are strong and can be find for $400 usd in the US..so around $2000 usd and you would have it.. The "Supra" 6 speed (Aka getrag V 160) cost a lot more,like $2500-3000 usd + adapters say another $600-700 usd..

Also,early on the attraction of just adding a SC in stock form,say with m112 with perhaps 10-12 psi,with headers,and you have a very nice 400+HP for cheap,Its just a shame that early adapations for SC was overpriced from the start.However,once a manifold could be had now,finding a suitable SC...

Love the one you're with...was a good line in a song....Its the 4 litre FI,thats got us all going,I cant wait to driver one of these 1uz with F1 around 25 psi..:should make up for a few litres..
