Well was/still planing on using AMG E55 supercharger on mine, got me thinking about the size and things..would a SC scale with rpm?I.E as RMP increases so does the airflow off the SC? Often wondered what happened to the clutch type of SC in actural use,If you switch the SC on around 4000 rpm,will...
Big power/torque surely must = big turbo/blower ?Am I missing somthing? I know is not as simple as that ,but that is what iv seen,Powerful engines (Drags)all have big blowers.
Yeah Lex, this is a hard choice, low end grunt is needed for take off and high end grunt for max speed?I think for general street driving would have to be Low end grunt..Idealy there's grunt all through the rev range,,,lol
Really depends again what is "Street racer",short sharp bust of speed from lights to lights?Or the "drift" style racer..The long smoothtorque curve achieved as soon as possible be my aim...and at good fuel econ too cough..cough..hehe
Was thinking standard pin height to suit Standard rods..from what i hear the standard (!UZ) rods takes a bit 600-1000 HP...Just the pistons are the weak spot for a mild boost..
Well Thats 3 sets then..
