    ignition leads

I personally like Magnacore leads and their website has a huge amount of info on the different types of leads and breaks many myths down as well. I have used their 10mm ones on my other cars and never had a single failure.

    lexus v8 running gas

That gas injection technology stuff looks pretty good but you won't get the cooling properties of injecting it as a liquid. Still from their website its producing more power than the petrol equivelent. Although it would be good to know if they are comparing it to 92 or 98 octane petrol...

    lexus v8 running gas

No it is a stand alone gas system (not as an extra to petrol) EDIT: what I meant was it can be run dual fuel but only petrol or LPG not both at once. It was a prototype from Liqui-phase. They had several cars running this liquid LPG system through factory injectors.

    lexus v8 running gas

The gas as it goes from a liquid to a gas does cool the intake charge a lot! I have a LPG computer and hand controller that does just that, it squirts the liquid LPG in through injectors.

    Stroker Cranks

The 8th post down in this thread by Lex. It is a quote of an email he got from Jim saying that he has Australian headers on it. EDIT: I agree the stock exaust manifolds are poorly designed. Obviously he has also seen the light! .

And the 1J is an easier conversion as the 1989+ had them as standard.

    Stroker Cranks

He is not running the standard exhaust, he is running 'long style' Rush (Tex) headers (4-2-1). Not sure if he is running the big or small pipe version of them though?

    vvti ls400 or non vvti

I very much doubt it would be soley off oil pressure. As oil is different viscositys from hot to cold. There is not much pressure difference between different rev ranges. It does work off oil pressure but I bet it has a electrical switch to tell it what revs to switch from base grind to the...

    Soarer V8 Manual Conversion

Had to explain shape and bolt holes! But if you measure around the front of the box where the bellhousing would bolt to the R154 is larger than the W series of boxes. From memory 28inches for the W and 31inches for the R (may not be 100% accurate as its just going from my memory which was...

What leads are they? Resistance is not a great measure of how good leads are. What size are they?

Realistic performance goals for light build-up of 1UZFE

Miles, when I rebuild motors to run on the limits of compression for a perticular type of fuel I find it has a lot to do with the quench shape of the pistons/heads. A closed chamber head will also allow much more compression before detonation for the same cc of volume than an open chamber...

    1UZFE TRIKE

I thought you were someone else till I saw you were located in Queensland. They have plans with the same motor in a trike. I rode 2 of there other trikes, one was a worked 350 chev the other a turbocharged ecotec (3.8 EFI V6 Buick for the non Aussies). Had a ball that day :D I will post a...
