    Welcome firstly there would be no mods required for that. The motor is built very strong and will handle high boost and high revs (some say 10- 12,000 depending how deep your pockets are) Perhaps a thicker head gasket for boost over 8 lb Do a search, theres plenty of info here.

    I think standard is 2.5 so no point changing it. Go 3" from Y pipe but the Y outlet should be smaller to increase gas flow rate. For further info try http://www.burnsstainless.com/index.htm A resonator is a straight through pipe anyway, it just helps quieten the exhaust.

    your sure the mechanic didnt just put dex 3 in? Most would. This is a fussy gearbox. I recommend a full flush(not just a pan drop)with type IV before any mechanical replacements. Hope this helps

    has the fluid been changed recently in the auto. It sounds like what happens when you put Dex 3 in. Do you know when it was changed last? The fluid should be Toyota typeIV, any other fluid will cause similar symtoms to what you described.

    Was the t/s balanced before it was installed? What about play in the uni's. I assume all the bolts are the same this time. lol also check the input shaft on the diff for play.

    Polishing can actually decrease airflow. Just look at a golf ball, the dimpled balls fly twice as far as a smooth ball for the same power drive. perhaps a dimpled intake is the way to go :)

    This site has all the information you will need, just search. Non interferance means that if the cam belt snaps the piston will not hit the valves. This will not be the case if the cams are changed like you will need. (They have very little lift standard)
