Thanks, Gloverman. I know this was common on the Chevy 4.3 but I'm not going to let a lifter click bother me too much.

Did you get the 2UZFE swapped into the FJ? Would love to hear about it. Did you do a build thread anywhere?

Just picked up a first-gen 2001 Sequoia. It's tight as a drum. Literally the only thing that's bugging me is a distinct lifter clicking sound. Is this normal for these engines?
