Mine will start and run with the air flow meter and air temp sensor unplugged . Does it still run at all? possibly the ecu.

If an igniter is faulty or disconnected mine will start then immediately stop. With a faulty fuel pump ecu mine will start and run for a few seconds and then stop.

You need a different seal. There is a bearing immediately behind the flange to give support. The transmission is found in Toyotas up to 1995 and also in some Isuzus.

That AFM is from a later model than the one you need.You need the earlier alloy meter

Maybe the plug is right and your AFM is wrong!!

Surf auto and transfer may be a bit longer than landcruiser. Also rear output is in the centre unlike landcruiser. Early model surfs had front driveshaft on right hand side . Later ones hat it on the left.Here is an early one on ebay...

I used an A341E from a V8 and bolted up the Surf parts to it. All I did was replace the Surf auto [A340E] with the V8 auto [A341E].
