Will you be running much boost on the stock motor?
Or are you just going to go straight the the biult motor.
If not could you crank up the boost with the stock motor and see what it will take!
Ryan its good to see your SC coming along,
What size injectors are you going with, and what sort of computer are you going to run.
Also how big is the fuel pump you are going to run?
Cheers

Hi guys i'm wanting to put a Motec on an SC400 but i need the wiring pin out so i can start.
I'm trying to track down a picture or graph which had all the sensors marked on it , as i'll be hooking a lot of the features this way.
Thanks for the help.
There is aguys selling a full exhaust off his sc400 on planet soarer for 1200 which has extractors two cats and from the cats back its all *** stainless, twin 2.1/4.

We currenlty have the older turbo 5 speed in the soarer we are working on,
the only thing we are going to do to handle the power for now is get the box pulled down and freshened up and putting in a new HKS tripple plate.
If you guys want to do manual conversions i could send you all the parts...
The exhaust must hold the car back a bit.once we removed the AC we ran a 4" lobster backed front pipe past the engine.
I'm interested in seeing photos of the exhaust system off the heads.
Cheers
Look foward to seeing some pics.
There must be more room in the LS400 than the SC as there is no chance of running a 3" exhaust past the ac and a proper 4 into 1 header set up on a soarer.
We had to remove the AC and do a log style manifold for our set up.
What sort of cams have you got in the car, and also where and how much?
sorry to be a pain.
I was also looking at doing the twin TB set-up on my V8. you can purchase a kit from Bullet super cars.
was quoted $1200, one on either side.
Nice work with the car.
Just wondering if you plan on winding up the boost at all or if you will do anything else to try and make some more power.
Would you think that before you do cams, that maybe a new plenum may help?
Also does it feel like the engine is trying to breathe up top but the revs...
Just remeber that we are dealing with a 4 L V8.
unfortunatly i can't show any pics just yet as the owner wants them to go up once the car is finished.
we have just finished the twin plenum and twin 76mm TB set-up however.
Graphic skills racing in Brisbane specialise in Motec, his name is Phil.
he tunes the red castrol GTR which holds the oz record for street tyres.
The M800 i can supply to you or just ask Phil.
you will also need a motec water temp sensor, map sensor just to start with just to get it running...
quick question but would the 1uz (non vvti)heads fit the new 5.7?
and is the 5.7 block the same set up as the 1uz.
Which companies offer big cams for the non vvti 1uz.
Cheers
