Has anyone played with the proportioning valve on our cars? After putting huge brakes on another car, I had disabled the proportioning valve and was still front biased, but a lot better off.

An O2 meter won't show the injector dwell/duration, is that why you want the scanner? It would be nice to know when you are slipping back into open loop mode, but not necessary to tune.

Do a search for o2 simulator, and you'll find some that are intended to replace the #2 sensor in the newer OBDII cars. You would be in closed loop mode, basically, but probably not an issue since you may require a fuel mod to correct for the open/short exhaust anyways.
