    LPG Prepped 1UZFE Internals

That's pretty slick, does the coating take up any needed ring clearance? What's the C/R?

    Mobil 1 Truck & SUV synthetic / Shell Rotella T / API CI-4 Oil

I have used an additive for about 15 years called "Power Up", am assuming it's a zinc additive, but it does add a quite noticable boost. Mobil 0W40, works well with it. Would be nice to just find an oil with the same effect.

    Fuel Enrichment with supercharging

So lets see, the three fuel variables are 1) Injector flow rating, 2) Fuel pressure, and 3) Duty cycle. If the injector duty cycle is safely maxxed out at around 85%, using stock injectors, what is the addition of X more pressure going to do to the available hp? I've played around with...

    Vortex AFM to MAF?

Same/similar MAF, but different wiring harness/car/ecu. You'd have to know the function of the wires involved, and their locations within the harness to do a swap, which would take a bit of studying of the two schematic's together.

    TTC Transmission Adapter Plate

Supra has a different wheelbase than the SC,so it's very, very likely that a custom driveshaft will be needed.

    Where can I get a tiny V8

The guy who made the gearbox for that Western State U car now works for TRD. Small world, huh?

...or at least a linear rate, adjustable regulator.

4 point platinum spark plugs suck!!!!

Those plugs sucked twenty years ago when they were introduced. It must me some cruel intitiation into DIY automotive work by the Bosch company, I figure, because everyone I've talked to has bought one set at one point, and none of them have anything good to say about the plugs.

I want your oppion (engine placement)

I know what you mean about removing everything from underneath; I mostly prefer that also. Looks great, will handle nice for sure setup like that.

    Dual Filter Intake?

How much power do you belive the stock panel filter will really support? I also thought that that would be the case, until I had some tuning "problems" over 4,000 rpm, and soon discovered that the stock filter would be better off put into the family 4Runner. A filter with about twice the...

    MAF body delete

I have removed some material from inside the MAF with good results, but tuning is a difficult task afterwards. A good way to maximize the setup you have would be to make sure the gasket that seals the MAF to the airbox is out of the airflow, and try and replace the small panel filter with...

Power Steering Noise even after new parts

There's a filter in the system, a screen, I've been told, I would want to make sure any crud from a previous burned up pump hasn't plugged everything up. You'll need a drawing of the system to be sure, but I believe the screen is in the rack.

    swaping sc400 OBD2 engine into OBD1 chassis?

You'll need to replace the missing harness with something, I would opt for the OBDII myself, but it will be some work. You will be surprised when it's all done how few (necesarry)wires are associated with other parts of the automobile, most are just between the engine and ECU. You may need to...

Crank Position Sensor Help! Code 13

You can view the ECU pinout(plug configuration) on another page within this very site, thanks to Lextreme! I was able to do this and then go outside and jump the circuit by baring the wire near the plug for testing purposes. I later soldered and heat shrunk the connection back again after I...

Crank Position Sensor Help! Code 13

I had a bad connector in the ECM plug that tripped a code 13, was a real hassle to find since it would work fine for awhile. Had to push my car back down my street one morning, that sucked.

    LS1 vs 1uzfe Height

Traditionally with Chevys, some of the truck spec. motors have a taller deck height, taller pistons/longer rods.

    2007 Tundra

I drove a base 2006 Tundra w/4.0 6 cylinder yesterday, was an animal; tons of torque all over. I don't know what the bore/stroke is on those engines, but if it were an 8 cylinder with the same, it would be a 5.33L.

Messing with the Intake Manifold for gains?

I managed to get the stock FPR to a higher pressure, but it is a one way adjustment; if you go too high, you can't go back. I was very careful when doing this. I did make an adjustable FPR, but haven't used it(yet). Also, the port picture I posted is from another thread, the credit for that job...

    Supra/Soarer rear geometry

I would go with something like figure 2 has displayed, while maintaining the original relative angles(relative to the ground plane). This will eliminate costly, and risky fabricating in this critical area, and basicall keep the suspension as it was. I'm assuming the vehicle will have a stiff...

Messing with the Intake Manifold for gains?

http://www.lextreme.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5166&d=1169778273 That pic has a divider right down the middle of the port to separate the two secondary(?) ports that have their own valve. This a technique that will give a great bang for your buck, or time invested. You could...
