Think it could run a little quicker if i changed the rear tyres, atm there 20s, with tall rubber. But its not a drag car so im happy with how things went.

Well i finally got around to sorting out the wiring for my alt. I have a charged light that turns off while the batt is charging but this has lead to another problem. As i have very little room in my car (34 ford) i had to move the alt and power steer pump inwards. In doing so i put a smaller...

Turns out mine was ok. If i can find another one at the right price i would get it. Can never have to many spares.....

Does any one know if the 3 pin plug on the cown 1UZ alternator fits any other toyota. Looks like my plug was damaged during swap and i need a new one.

Found it. Have a look where it says 1UZ under the front water bridge. You should find a number there.

Striker - Thats what i was thinking, they must put a number some where on the block. I need it for rego.

Can any one tell me where are the engine numbers located on 1UZ. Found some letters/numbers on the right head below the injectors. Is this it? Would of thought that it should be stamped on the block somewhere.

Code 13 - Driving me nuts! Its the only code my crown/auto chucks at me and the engine light stays on. It has a small miss and idles a little rough. I have tested the crank and cam sensors - all met the correct ohms. Traced all wires back from cam/crank sensors - all seem fine. Checked ohms on...

Fixed! Turns out i had a faulty fuel pump. It was pumping fuel, but just not enough. Replaced with spare fuel pump and it started first go.

If i crack the fuel line with the FPR in, the fuel spurts out, so now i think the fpr is ok. Even if i compress the return line it still doesn't fire. Looks like i have a wiring problem, as when i have the key on (not cranking) i have 12 volts on both sides of the injector, with the injector...
