At 7psi Lean on one side v8

Im pretty positive that that is a misconception about the LS and the SC engines having different injectors. Maybe prior to 92 this is true but I know that 92 and up, they have the same 250cc injectors... I've pulled injectors form 3 different LS's (a 92, 93, and 95) and all of them had the same...

    Do you like your extractors?

Mine sound great with my exhaust.. I built everything, Headers (extractors) and exhaust. They are Tri-Y's though and that might be making a big differance. The exhaust is all 2.5" with 3 mufflers, the first being a dual inlet/outlet with a built in X-pipe. Behind it are two single inlet/outlet...

Sorry dude, didn't realize that I didn't put Jack........ On a different note.... Back to the problem at hand.. Something else that I thought of, your using all four O2's from my understanding.. Are you running Cats???? If so, are you sure that you have both guages hooked up and reading...

Oh, one other thing, are you sure that you do have 315cc injectors and do all the number on the injectors match?

At 7psi Lean on one side v8

The likely hood of one bank going lean an not the other is very unlikely especially from an electronics standpoint.... Does the motor seem to be miss firing any? A lot of people seem to not understand that a miss fire will show as a lean condition on a A/F Gauge. This is because if a cylinder...

First off, LED AFR gauges are worth jake diddley squate anywhere outside of about 14.3 to 15.3 AFR.. Dont relay on those types of gauges or any narrow band type O2 system... Get Wide Band setups on the car. Unless your having a air flow distabution problem on one side of the motor, I would...

    Crank Pulley/Damper Weight- HELP ???

No, the engine is not making any more power then it did previous to the lighting of any of the rotating assembly including drivtrain, but you do gain usable power at the ground.. It takes torque to accelerate a rotating mass. The heavier that mass the more torque it takes to accelerate it at a...

    Crank Pulley/Damper Weight- HELP ???

The weight in itself is largely a contibuting factor as to how well it dampens harmonic vibrations from the crank.... The lighter it is, the less it dampens. The weight is set accordingly to the magnitude and frenquency of the harmonic vibrations coming from the crank...

Clunking sound over bumps (Ball Joints or Bearings?)

Well being that the handling seems to have changed and wont retain a proper alignment, then this goes back to suspension...... Control arm bushing might not be avalible without buying the whole control are.. I think the same goes for the upper ball joints.. If the control arm bushing are...

Clunking sound over bumps (Ball Joints or Bearings?)

Oh, one question, is the clunking not present when braking on bumpy road or when ever it would normally cause the clunking to accure? If the clunking is not there while braking, then I would also possibly suspect a problem in the brakes, either pad loose in thier seats in the caliper bracket or...

Clunking sound over bumps (Ball Joints or Bearings?)

I highly doubt thar it is a bearing.. You would have gotton a grawling noise long before you get a clunking noise and that grawling would be extremely nasty sounding if the bearing was far enough gone to make a clunking... Can you tell what side its comming from? If so, then jack that side up...

"Coil on plug" coils for 1UZFE

True about the over heating situation with non wasted spark coils running in wasted spark set up, but if your using a CDI setup, then the over heating problems are no longer there. No saturation / charge time with CDI so no time to build up heat...

    Crank Pulley/Damper Weight- HELP ???

Ok, did a bit more research and the only thing I could come up with is the 95 and later units are different then the 94 and earlier... My guess is that the later units are lighter being that the rotating assembly of the 95 and later engine's is lighter...

    Crank Pulley/Damper Weight- HELP ???

Dont understand what your talking about with the damper only and spacers and what not.. There are no spacer or anything.... I have one sitting here from an early 1uz (93 SC400 to be exact). It weighs 2400 grams (84.5 onces or 5lbs 4.5oz) Sorry the pics aren't the greatest, the only camera I...

    E85 for more power

Rod, In most cases that I've seen, the red top RX-7 injectors are 460cc's/min where as 550cc's/min are purple topped... yeah, I realize that, but I was commenting in that post about places having 98 here in the states (which I have never seen or heard of). I know that because of the rating...

    E85 for more power

2JZ-GE's are 315cc's/min (same as whats in 89 and up 7M-GE) at least state side, this is the case........ 440cc's/min were in 7M-GTE's

    E85 for more power

Hmmmm, I've never seen or heard of a gas station here in the states that has 98 octane... 93 yes, but not 98....... The other thing is the 10% mix that you see is not gas and E85 mixed, it gas and Ethonal mixed, meaning that it 90% gasoline and 10% Ethanol... E85 is a mix too. Its 85% Ethanol...
