Hi Spinnetti... Here's some clips i got about T-1 and T-2's... apparantly T-2 is just a better diff, runs quieter, possibly less fuel used and just behaves better (whatever that means. I do know that if a T1 has one wheel off the ground it can behave like an open diff, it needs both wheels on...

No worries... Keep looking... it's a beautiful motor, so what ever your doing just make sure it's the VVTi. Of all the 1UZ's, it gets the most possible power for the least amount of fuel used.... And is the smoothest and quietest.... and-and-and-and... :)

T-2 Thanks for the info.... yeah i'd rather put in a T-2 although for my purposes a T1 would be fine... but i'm a wanker and want the T2 but they rearly come up for sale and when they do their exe... ... I'll keep looking... i figure ive just gotta be in the right place at the right time...

Looking at a Torsen T-1 on ebay, $250 starting bid for my '98 LS.. Would there be any benifit me paying extra (alot extra) for a T-2 ? I'm not a racer, the inside wheel is never likely to be off the ground.. Ive heard T-2's are a bit quieter and use a little less petrol... Any surgestions ?
