Im having the same problem again with my V8 soarer the thing keeps reving up and down by its self. Thanks Damien just pulled the alternator out today the two nuts where the earth cable connects are badly corroded not sure what that means, but getting the alternator checked tomorrow Glad to know I’m not the only one with the rev thing Cheers
