    fired up my 1uz from a 1990 ls400 in my 91 toyota pickup. i havent driven it yet (still lots of details like radiator, battery mount, etc) and im going to try to put the rear sub assembly from a 1987 supra under the rear end since i used a w58 and massaged a supra 150mph speedo into the truck...

    Parts parting 1990 ls400, need rear sump

    parting out a maroon/tan 1990 ls400. im using the engine (though i need a rear sump setup and would be happy to trade for it). the auto trans works/shifts beautifully despite 195k miles. most body parts are fine. i think 2 doors are dented a bit, but hood, trunk, front/rear end is all good.

    1986 toyota pickup... my 3rd 1UZ swap project.

    great work. im planning on doing a 1uz with w58 swap into my 91 2wd truck this summer. i currently have a 7mge with the w55 in it. any lessons you learn in the process (mounts, wiring etc) will be appreciated.
