They won't be that loud. I've got a sts on my truck and it sounds like a jet when the turbo is spooling but on idle it sounds sweet. There are other options than STS's scavenger pump. What are you using for fuel management?

i run the iridiums...I guess I have to research it better, I've been using the BKR7EIX-11 on my 98 GS400 with vvti 1uz running 8psi on my vortech supercharger. Made 394whp 337 tq.

still nothing. I have a boomslang harness made for the AEM FI/C 8...but i'm still leaning towards the standalone...i wish there was a way to flash our ecus like the LS1

I had a checkvalve on mine. I believe cartech recommends it. I bypassed the fmu and the car runs much better, still has a code but is running now.

what is Mitch's screen name? Thanks for all the info! I've contacted Richard Welch already and he can custom make a pnp harness. I have to find somebody to help me with the specs I need so he can do it.

I'd like to get a standalone to run my supercharged GS400. Just trying to figure out the best route? I'd like to be able to run my 440cc injectors and make it idle ok. suggestions? Thanks

its adjustable. you can adjust the FMU without the vacuum plugged. Its adjusted at 40 psi on idle. I've got a gauge. but when I plug the vacuum on the fmu in, psi drops to 20 psi with no adjustment availabe on the fmu.

Hey guys, I've got a 98 GS400 that's been giving me problems ever since I had the RMM supercharger installed by a shop. I've been going through a bunch of problems and finally got almost all of them licked...except for the Cartech FMU. I was getting a misfire on cylinders 1,3,5,7 and a p0100...

fluttering is the blow off not fully opening..because it was still on partial throttle....Its a Rod Millen kit which uses a Vortch blower...
