For anyone interested, I used the 2006 and newer 260mm 1kd-ftv clutch. In order to use the factory clutch fork form the 1990 4runner, I had to remove about 35mm from the bellhousing, where the slave cylinder mounts. I got it running, and this thing is fun.

I finally got an answer to what clutch fits this flywheel, according to a vendor in Thailand. It takes the clutch from the 1kd-ftv diesel. I can't find any here in the usa, so I am going to have to get the one from Akina motorsports, because it's the best option at this point.

The 3sgte clutch has the dowel pin right next to the pressure plate bolt, where this flywheel has it evenly spaced between the bolts. Since there are no Toyota vehicles in the usa with a 260mm clutch, according to the Exedy catalog, I think I am just going to bite teh bullet, and get the one...
