    Hi, Sorry only just saw this... I found this photo from ages ago in case it helps. You can see the filter pointing sideways in front of the steering rack. You can just about see in the photo that the oil filter bracket clashes with the rack (engine is on spacers at this point to raise it up)...

    1uz fan idler bracket failure

    Hi all, Btw thought I'd update on this - after sitting in Coventry for customs clearance for ages, i got the bracket and fitted it a couple of days later. It has run fine since, as it's a genuine part and Kelvin tells me it's a "sealed for life" bearing, so hopefully will last.... Thanks again...
