Yep, just disassemble the pump and get rid of it, you might have to machine the housing a bit to clear the belt. You'll need a shorter belt because the pump pulley will be in the bin :)

we have no plans to make it forward shift compatible, mainly due to expense, (another setup for machining, extra core in the casting). But if you really wanted one , it could be done. As for the position of the engine etc, I'll have to try one in a stock chassis before I can say exactly what...
