the pros of the 1uz swap are the Australians bar non, thay put anything in anything with any combo you can imagine and have all the company's to do so. there are 3 swap specialist that i know of there, Dellows (by far the best), Castlemans and i forget the last one. thay all have kits for the R...
what are you using for diff gears? im changing mine out and debating on 4.88 or 5.28.
Also , is your tranny a W56? wana check the ratios compared to my R150F. thanks

that all sounds really good. how much power did you get it up to now....i know stock its about 250. im pretty sure marlin crawler has an adapter to mate the R150F to the 4cyl gear cases. or ill just get the R151F if i can find a good one cheap. i think thats the Turbo 5 spd... im on the east...
hey, iv been following your build and i must say im very impresed.... i was wondering why you didn't go with the factory ECU? also the job you did on the bell housing was very impressive...but im gonna have to go to the guys at Dellow auto for mine....i dont have access nor do i know how to...
so this is the R150F gear box to 1uzfe adapter...? are you still using the V6 fly wheels/clutch....and so on...
and dose this guy have any more of these bell housings...??? i need one and getting it from down under is gonna be really $$$

so i found out that Toyota Tundra 4.7 headers fit on the 4.0L bolt pattern and flange, Ebay has em from $150 - $600 on all types and quality. just thought id share that. i know i was looking to put headers and not manifolds...

Guts, what size exhaust are you running? i got a friend who works at a local Toyota dealer who got me a 06 Tacoma system with a 4L v6 for me to cut up, i guess the customer wanted the TRD system. its a single pass from where it joins the crossover all the way back. i think its ither 2 or 2,5"...
