I think fly wheel may be out of line. Is it possible I couldve put it on back to front BC I'm only learning as I go

I just finished my lower rear welch plug on my 02 au. Put me gearbox back in all that and finished her off new fluid and turned her over and it's now making this like rod knocking noise coming from my starter. Put it this way it's bloody loud of a knight. Any ideas?
