That makes me sad :no:. BMWs deserve 5 speeds and BMW motors. If you are going to do a conversion, put a S50/52 in there and add a twin screw if you need more power. Or you can put a S62 motor in there if you insist on a V8 :) F

I am interested in buying an early model V8 Tundra and doing a manual tranny swap. Do you guys know anyone that has done one is the US? I've tried to do some searching but keep coming up empty and don't understand all the names of the engines and trannies. In my noob mind, it seems like this...

I've been searching all over the web to see if anyone's done a 5/6 speed swap on a V8 Tundra. Do you guys know if anyone's done one? Thanks, Findley
