drive it like usual till you get your LS motor done and then just do the swap, and sell your good running 1uz to a swapper to make up some of your swap cost! You won't get more than a couple Jacksons for a blown up core, but you could sell the pullout running for way more than that.

We did pretty much the same build in the first part of 2006, and it had problems. I offset ground a stock crank to the 1.88" rods and 3.575" stroke and used the same cadillac wet sleeves in your picture only cut down a bit to fit the 1uz block. They were bored out to fit...
haha, if you only knew.. it's not taking up much direct space, but that's because it is in my room because my garage is so full of stuff that I can't even walk around, let alone put more stuff in there.
