gloverman i'm still intending on bringing my car on down to be finished in your workshop once i get it back from the panel beaters.. Have you ever set up an interal hydraulic clutch release on one of the GM or Nissan covers mentioned above?

What's varnish?

I bought a 1UZ as part of a package a while ago and when i got it the owner said the engine was "breathing" which didn't really bother me as they're cheap enough to replace anyway. Only wanted the package for the other parts which came with it. However just out of interest i took the cam covers...

yeah thats me.. this one ended up being a bit expensive by the time its shipped here! but there is a couple on Ebay at the moment that are quite cheap incl shipping o New Zealand. so will grab them. cheers for that.
