hi Cribbj, I think you can just use the B16 camshafts. At least on one side. I have to look into it. I am currently researching if I can fit the bmw S50 valves in a 2jz head, then put the honda D series camgears on and the honda K20 rocker arms. I think it will be cool :)

I have always loved the idea of flat plane crank V8 engines and make something yourself. Only thing I discovered is the Audi V8 have the same bore spacing as the honda B vtec heads. That would make an awesome flatplane V8 combo :)

hi alan fitting a wheel is possible but why dont you go with the UZ vvti wheel (stocker) it is a 36-2. 4 rib is no problem, diameter is neither a problem.

Well I want to finish my 3UZ build first. But the UR engine is just nice and it was cheap. I might build it and get rid of the direct fuel injection. But I want to convert it to flat plane then :)

Is the rear bridge actually really required at all. I think there is no flow at all there when the heater is closed.
